By the Sea Recovery is an owner-led, staff-supported structured sober living home for men in San Marcos, North County San Diego. Our team provides hands-on accountability, daily structure, and resident support — not clinical treatment.

Meet the Team

• Mark Gladden — Owner and Founder. Military veteran and person in long-term recovery. Personally involved in move-in conversations, family questions, and the culture of the home.
• Amy Gladden, CADC-II, ICADC, CPA — Owner, Training and Staff Development. Provides professional oversight, staff training, and recovery insight behind the scenes.
• Nic Johnson, RADT — Assistant Program Director. Primary resident-facing support, reinforcing structure, accountability, communication, and daily recovery progress.
• Alex Roncone — Operations Manager. Supports house operations, resident accountability, chores, meeting attendance, and follow-through.

What Our Team Does

The BTS team supports the sober living environment through house expectations, accountability, communication, recovery routines, and resident follow-through. By the Sea Recovery is not treatment. It is structured sober living for men who are ready to rebuild stability.
